Chocolate-Covered Almond Butter Cookies

Dry Ingredients
- ¾ cup almond butter
- ½ cup gluten-free flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup almond butter
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
Toppings
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1-2 tbsp sliced almonds
Preheat the oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
In the same bowl, add the wet ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.
Scoop out the dough and place it onto a baking sheet. Flatten it down to the size you want.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool completely.
Melt together the coconut oil and chocolate chips until smooth.
Lather or dip the cookies in the melted chocolate, and then garnish with sliced almonds.
